To Prospective Students

If you are planning to apply to graduate school at LSU and would like to be a part of my research group, please follow the instructions below.

n Please look at my web page. There you will find a description of the research areas I am interested in.

n If you have past experience (projects, papers, etc.) on one or more of my research interests and you are applying to the Ph.D. program, please send me an email (dequeiroz@me.lsu.edu) with your resume. Your resume should include a brief description of your research interests, what you have done in these areas, educational background, GRE scores, grade point average, list of relevant undergraduate/graduate courses with grades, and class ranking.

n If any of my research topics interests you, but you do not have past experience on the area and you are not applying to the Ph.D. program, I encourage you to apply to LSU, but please do not contact me directly. To make sure that I see your file, please include my name in your Statement of Purpose and your particular area of interest.

n I usually do not take M.S. students, unless they hold a B.S. degree from a U.S. university.
